Turn off responsive website

I would like to know how to easily disable the responsive mode please. I see you have touched on this subject in previous posts, but I am no expert at editing CSS.

What's the easiest way to do this, while ensuring I don't delete anything important?

    Remove your /css/responsive.css file.

    Then add one line of CSS to your style.css file:
    body {min-width:1200px;}

    Doing so keeps the responsive css from being used, but still the request is being sent and it gives a 404 error for that particular responsive css file. To put it simple, i want the responsive link to be removed from header file which would thereby stop requesting for the responsive css file. how to do it ??

    You can delete the contents within that file.
    Or remove the call under your functions.php file:

    wp_enqueue_style( 'responsive', get_template_directory_uri() . '/css/responsive.css', array( 'style' ) );
